Mobile App Development

Mobile apps that ship and scale.

iOS, Android, and cross-platform. From first MVP to multi-tenant scale. Built by the same team that ships EXO NODES — our enterprise software platform for UAE + GCC. UAE-based, GCC-first, since 2017.

Capabilities

What we build.

Every engagement is scoped to your specific stack and roadmap — no cookie-cutter templates, no generic listicles.

  1. Native iOS + Android

    01

Swift + Kotlin builds when performance, offline reliability, and platform-specific UX matter. First-class widgets, notifications, background sync, and Apple / Google service integrations.

  2. Cross-platform

    02

React Native, Flutter, and Capacitor for one codebase, two stores. Right choice when time-to-market > per-platform polish and shared logic outweighs native-only features.

  3. UX + product design

    03

Interaction design, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems. Every app ships with a design token file so future engineers can extend without re-inventing the visual language.

  4. Backend + infrastructure

    04

Node.js / NestJS APIs, PostgreSQL databases, AWS + Cloudflare deploys. Multi-tenant architectures, offline-first sync, secure authentication (Argon2id + JWT + TOTP MFA).

  5. UAE / GCC compliance

    05

PDPL-compliant data handling. FTA e-invoicing if the app transacts. Arabic + English bilingual. Data residency in-region on request. Cross-border ready for KSA / GCC expansion.

  6. Post-launch operations

    06

App-store submission and re-submission, crash monitoring (Sentry), release management, A/B testing, analytics wiring, and OS-version upgrade handling for the app’s life.

  7. Integrations

    07

Payment gateways (Stripe / Tap / PayTabs / Telr), WhatsApp Business, Apple Pay + Google Pay, biometric auth, geolocation, camera, Bluetooth peripherals (thermal printers, card readers).

  8. MVP to enterprise

    08

One-founder MVP in 8 weeks, or multi-tenant platform for a growing scale-up. We optimise for the architecture you'll maintain after launch — not for a portfolio screenshot.

Our process

Start to finish, step by step.

7 steps from the first conversation to life after launch. Durations are typical; your plan sets the real ones.

How we run every project
  1. Step 1: Discovery

A discovery call, then the users, key journeys, platforms and backend needs written down. Fixed-scope MVP or hourly retainer: you pick the shape.

    • You get: Written scope and proposal
    • Typical duration: 1–2 weeks
  2. Step 2: UX flows

Every journey mapped screen by screen as wireframes, including empty, offline and error states and Arabic right-to-left layouts.

    • You get: Wireframed user flows
    • Typical duration: 1–2 weeks
  3. Step 3: UI design

Visual design and an interactive prototype you can tap through on your phone. Every screen decision defended before we write code.

    • You get: Interactive prototype
    • Typical duration: 2–3 weeks
  4. Step 4: Sprint build (iOS + Android)

Sprint-based delivery with demos and test builds on your own phone. You see progress every week, not at a big-bang launch.

    • You get: Test builds every sprint
    • Typical duration: 6–14 weeks
  5. Step 5: Device testing & beta

Testing on real iOS and Android devices and screen sizes, then a beta through TestFlight and Google Play testing with your own users.

    • You get: Beta build and fix list
    • Typical duration: 1–3 weeks
  6. Step 6: Store submission

Store listings, screenshots and privacy details prepared and submitted to the App Store and Google Play, with reviewer feedback handled for you.

    • You get: Approved store listings
    • Typical duration: 1–2 weeks (store review times vary)
  7. Step 7: Launch & support

Release with crash and usage monitoring, then ongoing improvements or a handover to your in-house team. We stay as long as you need.

    • You get: Live app and support plan
    • Typical duration: Ongoing

Common questions

Start a project

01How long does mobile app development take?
A well-scoped MVP ships in 8-12 weeks from kickoff. Multi-tenant platforms or apps with heavy backend + admin surfaces take 4-6 months. We share weekly progress via Loom so timeline drift is visible early, not at the end.
02Do you build native or cross-platform?
Whichever fits your roadmap. Native (Swift + Kotlin) wins when performance, offline reliability, or platform-specific UX matters — thermal printer POS, geolocation-heavy delivery apps, biometric-locked financial apps. Cross-platform (React Native / Flutter / Capacitor) wins when time-to-market > per-platform polish and shared logic outweighs native-only features. We'll recommend based on your actual constraints, not a template.
03Do you handle App Store + Google Play submission?
Yes — bundle identifiers, provisioning profiles, screenshots, App Store Connect + Google Play Console setup, App Tracking Transparency compliance, and re-submissions after Apple or Google feedback. You keep ownership of both developer accounts.
04Can you build in Arabic + English?
Every app we deliver ships with i18n from day one. RTL layout via CSS logical properties, bilingual translations, Arabic-Indic digit support where the customer prefers it. If the app deals with UAE tax invoices, we wire PINT AE compliance and bilingual receipt rendering natively.
05What happens after launch?
Three options: retainer support (fixed hours per month for changes + bug fixes), project-based extensions (feature releases scoped independently), or handover to your in-house team with two weeks of pairing. We don't lock you into ongoing dependency.
06Do you have UAE-based project management?
Yes — our engineering team is in Sharjah, UAE. Same time-zone as your operations, same regulatory context (PDPL, FTA, WPS, GCC), same commercial norms. You get direct engineering + PM contact — no offshore hand-off.
